Harry was born Jan. 6, 1922 in Glenwood Springs, Colo., the son of Harry and Blanche Foster. He joined the US Navy and was honorably discharge after serving four years. Harry lived in Baltimore, Maryland until 1976. On March 26, 1976 he married Audrey Marie Donelson in Baltimore, Maryland. The two of them moved to Newport in 1991 be closer to family. Harry worked as a long haul truck driver with Global Van Lines for over 30 years retiring in 1984. He loved jigsaw and crossword puzzles, clocks and woodworking. He was also a very talented painter. Survivors include his wife Audrey at the family home; one daughter Georgie ( and Steve) Rudolph of Marrero, Louisiana; two step daughters Wanda (and Daniel) Ott of Kirkland, Wash., and Diane (and Jim) Fausser of Ariz.; three grandchildren, Steve Jr. Rudolph, Diana O'Connor and William Fausser; two great grandchildren, Scott O'Connor and Blakley Rudolph. Survivors also include three sisters, Betty Dick of Oregon, Lucille Stone of Oregon and Mary Minnich of Arizona. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son and a sister. A Funeral Service was held on Feb. 11, 2006 at Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
