Victor Kent VanHook


Victor Kent VanHook, 48, passed away at his home in Spirit Lake on July 16, 
2005. 

He was born on Dec. 9, 1956 in Plad, Miss. to Marion Grover VanHook and 
Margaret (Casados) VanHook. He moved to Spirit Lake five years ago from Coeur 
d'Alene and was a lineman for a utility company.

He loved western style dress and music. Victor also enjoyed gardening and 
helping others.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Roy and Margaret Wood, 
Henderson, Nev.; sisters, Catherine Wassmuth, Grangeville and Diane Reyes, 
Rathdrum; step brother Raymond Wood, Priest River and step sister, Ginger 
Seymore, Astoria, Ore.

He was preceded in death by a nephew Eric Casados, uncle Louis Casados, Aunt 
Gloria Casados and a cousin, Frankie Prosser.

A memorial service was held on July 19 at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur 
d'Alene. English Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements. To sign
