FUNERAL

Elias Mather

Funeral services for Elias Mather who died December 
27, were held Saturday at the Grace Second LDS ward 
chapel at Grace with Bishop John V. Kirby officating.

The prayer at the family home was by John Mather. 
The musics included a piano-organ duet by Mrs. Ruth 
Jenkins and Mrs. Alfreda Lloyd; vocal duet, Mr. and 
Mrs. C. Freeman Ashbaker who sand "One Fleeting 
Hour," violin and trombone duet, Adrain Sant and Lear 
Arnolus with Miss Ann Weltowrth as accompanist; 
vocal solo, Mrs. Phyllis Olsen, singing "Lonesome," 
vocal solo, "Hold Then My Hand," Edmund A. Johnsen. 

The invocation was by Lester Sant. Speakers were J. 
Stanley Harrison, Sterling Hixson, President Millon F. 
Hartvigsen and Bishop Kirby.

The benedicion was by Lynden Mather. Burial was in 
the Smith-Reid Club cemetery under (--?--) of the Burk 
Funeral home. Harper W. Noel dedicated the grave.

The pallbearers were nephews. Flowers were under 
direction of Harriet Ellis, Jane Hansen, Mede Miles, 
Rosemary Klyby, Hattie Logan, Elsie Henson, Vince 
Ernson, Mildred Burgin, Ruth Hansen, Minnie Williams, 
and the guardchildren, elaine Worlton, Tony Worlton and 
Bobbie Scott with Mrs. Winona Lowe in charge.
