William J BERG 
"A resident of the North Bench the past eight years, passed away this morning at
Bonner's Ferry Hospital following a major operation performed Tuesday. Funeral
services are to be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday afternoon from the Crouch Chapel
with Rev. H HENNING Immanuel Lutheran Pastor of Creston BC officiating.
Mr. BERG was born Sept 22, 1882 in Germany. He was married to Edna RUTHERFORD at
Duluth, Minnesota Oct 30, 1930 and came with his family to Idaho four years later.
Besides the widow he is survived by 2 sons and a daughter, Kenneth , William and
Ruth BERG, stepson George RUTHERFORD at home. There are also 3 daughters by a
former marriage, Mrs. Lester LOCKMAN of Bonner's Ferry, Mrs. Merton ANDERSON of
Butte , Montana, and Mrs Edna HAMARLAND of Chicago Illinois. A daughter Mrs. JH
HODGES passed away last September. He is also survived by two sisters Mrs. Otto
PFAU, who resides in California and Miss Bertha BERG of Chicago Illinois and a
brother Rudolph BERG of Milwaukee,  Wisconsin. In addition there are 7
grandchildren.
During his residence in this vicinity, BERG formed a wide circle of friends who
extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. "
