She was born July 29, 1920 in Choteau, Mont., the daughter of Martin and Mary (Petersen) Read. Louise was raised and attended school in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. On May 10, 1939 she was united in marriage to Benjamin “Pete” Bishop and they made their home in Tigard, Ore. And Seattle for a number of years until moving to Williams Lake, BC, residing there for 21 years. After her husband’s death in 1993, she moved to Sedro-Woolley, Wash. Louise loved the outdoors, flowers, birds, and butterflies She is survived by two daughters; Heather Sears and husband Randy of Las Vegas, NV, and Shannon Bishop of Sedro-Woolley. Her son Peter Michael Bishop and wife Donna Jean of Malo, Wash. Her grandchildren, Asher Sears, Kiera Sears and his son Christopher Sears, Elizabeth Sinclair, and her daughter Natalie Sinclair, Michaela Markusson, Sabrina Serrano and her children, Tony and Isabella Perez and Sean McNeil Bisho; and her sister, Fran Schlener and her husband John of Spokane, Wash. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband Pete and a daughter Cherie Bishop McNeil. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the Saxon Cemetery in Acme, Wash. Arrangements and services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
