W. Bragg was accidentally drowned at 1:30 Sunday afternoon while bathing in Mirror Lake. Mr. Bragg with his two sons and a neighbor's boy, was seeking relief from the oppressive heat in the cool waters of the lake when he was seized with cramps and drowned before anyone could reach him. An especially sad feature of the case is the fact that the wife of the deceased was taken to the Orofino hospital about a year ago and there are four little children ranging in age from three to eight years. News of the accident was sent to Mr. Bragg's mother who went to Montana about two weeks ago. Mr. Bragg, who was 40 years of age, had resided on his ranch a mile from Bonners Ferry on the Moravia road for the past 10 years and had the respect of the entire community.
