Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 15 in the Free Methodist Church in Bonners Ferry with internment following in the Grandview Cemetery. Dorothy was born in Wisbang, Oklahoma on Oct. 27, 1921 to Arthur and Alice (Wise) Eddington. She grew up in Oklahoma and California. She worked as a riveter in an airline factory during WWII. She loved this job and hated to leave it when the war ended. Her husband Charlie Brock who took care of the livestock at Disneyland preceded her n death. She knew Mr. Walt Disney personally as well as Mickey Mouse. She found a companion in Richard Brown of Bonners Ferry in 1988. They met in Laughlin, Nevada. She was quickly adopted as mom and grandma by his family. They have shared their life since then and was dearly loved. They traveled from Florida to Alaska and Mexico to Canada. Over the years she loved to do needle work and crafts and liked poetry. She is survived by one brother Robert Eddington of King City, Calif.; long time companion Richard (Dick) Brown of Bonners Ferry , and many nieces and nephews.
