Funeral services were held on Friday, April 9, 2004 in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Interment followed in the Grandview Cemetery, Boners Ferry, Idaho. Pedge was born on Dec. 25, 1916 in Leonia, Idaho to Luther and Effie Stewart. She was the youngest of six kids, and the last to join them in heaven. She went to school at Curley Creek in Idaho throughtout the eith grade. She then moved to Spokane, Wash, where she was enrolled first at Lewis and Clark in 1931 and the North Central in 1933. She married Ken (David K.) Brown on June 291948 in Libby, Mont. They lived their lives in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and went on many adventurous vacations, from camping under their car on their honeymoon to costal escapades down Highway 101. Survivors included sister-in-laws Nelda Stewart of Kalispell, Mont., Twila O’Gallagher of Spokane, Wash. And numerous nieces and nephews. It has been a long, hard journey for you since Uncle Ken died. Your mind has not kept up with your body. I thas been hard to see your struggle with your ever drifting thoughts. I pray that you are at peace now. We will miss you dearly. We love you, Auntie Pedge.
