Bettie Jean Brown, 63, of Bonners Ferry, Id., passed away Aug. 27, 2003 at
Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Id. after a grief stint with cancer.
   She was born Nov. 1, 1939 in Richmond, Va. To George and Ruth (Jarrell) Hall.
 When not spending time with family and grandchildren, Bettie was fishing,
hunting or enjoying the great outdoors.
   Bettie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Loretta (Barton)
Stump.  She is survived by her siblings, George W. Hall, Gloria Schatz, Bonnie
Leach, Fred Barton, Timothy Barton and Michelle Gerald; grandchildren Brandi,
Eric and Brea Puckett, Chrystal and Terry Rausch, Anna, Sonia, Lawrence Jr. and
Kierra Kolthammer, Lee, Jr., Rachel, Rebecca and Randy Brower;
great-grandchildren Joshua, Mikayla and Shannon.
