Yvonne Inga Buffin, 61, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho went home to be with her Lord on
Feb. 27, 2002 at Kootenai Medical Center.  She was born June 13, 1940 to George
M. and Yvonne Edith Egeberg in Bonners Ferry, Idaho where she grew up and
attended school.
   She was married to Jim Moore from 1956 until 1963.  Yvonne and Jim made their
home in Bonners Ferry and had three children, Jeff, Tony and Michelle.
   In December, 1964 she married Eugene Buffin.  They had one son, Gene Buffin.
 In 1972 they moved from Bonners Ferry to Coeur d’Alene where together they
owned and operated several businesses – most recently, United Powder Coating.
   Yvonne and Gene were married for 33 years.  She was a devoted wife and
mother, as well as a competent business partner.  In December, 1997 Eugene
passed away and Yvonne assumed the full responsibility for operating the business.
   Yvonne attended Lake City Community Church in Coeur d’Alene.  Yvonne accepted
Jesus into her life in the 30’s.  She deeply loved her Lord, her family and her
friends.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and shared the joy of Christ
with everyone she met, leading many to know Him.
   She cherished her friendships, old and new, and was always there to lend a
listening ear or a helping hand to those in need of one.
   A gifted artist, landscaper, interior decorator and painter, she worked at a
variety of artistic endeavors, including crafting carousel animals and oil
painting.  She enjoyed traveling and camping with family.
   She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Suzanne Moore of
Rathdrum, Id.; son and daughter-in-law Tony and Shelly Moore of Coeur d’Alene,
Id.; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Tony Sorensen of Boise, Id.; son and
daughter-in-law, Gene and Kim Buffin of Hayden, Id.; grandchildren, Cody Moore,
Tom Pentland, Gage Sorenson, Hana Sorensen and Andrew Buffin as well as her good
friend, Forest “Woody” Liebe and the many friends who loved her.
   Funeral services were held March 7 at Lake City Community Church in Coeur
d’Alene, Id.
