At the age of 92. Harriet was born Nov. 20, 1911 in Kootenai, Idaho to Charlie and Nellie (Johnson) Washburn. Harriet was the oldest of 11 children. On Nov. 16, 1929 she married Victor Cameron in Sandpoint, Id. They had three children, Wilma Jean, Barbara (Jody) and Gerald Victor. Harriet owned and operated the Porthill Grocery and Tavern for a few years. She enjoyed working in her garden, reading, playing cards and crocheting, her many friends, grandchildren and her family. Harriet was a long time member of the Rebecca’s-Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Bonners Ferry, Id. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Vic; two children, Gerald Victor and Wilma Jean; two grandchildren, Steven Ray Hodgson and Jodeen Ellen Hippe (Hodgson); three brothers, Bruce, Howard and Donald Washburn; four sisters, Marion Quitt, Bessie Scott, Helen Davis and Peggy Smith. Harriet is survived by one daughter Barbara (Jody) and son-in-law Ray Hodgson; grandchildren Debra Van Sypoc (John) of Spirit Lake, Id.; Ralene Wilson (Gary) and family Jodeen, Janelle and Jamie of Helena, Mont.; Michael Hodgson and sons Kyle and Garrett of Athol, Id.; John Hodgson (Gerianne) and family Dylan and Cody of Post Falls, Id.; three sisters, Lorraine Cossairt of Naples, Id., Laura Dinning (Gifford) of Bonners Ferry, Id., and Betty Keson (LeRoy) of Moscow, Id.; numerous nieces and nephews. Harriet will be greatly missed by all. Services pending for a later date.
