Carnahan, 89 Alice O. Carnahan, died Jan. 26, 2005, at LaCrosse Rehabilitation Center, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Nebraska, on April 19, 1915. She moved to Bonners Ferry with her parents, Chas. And Flora Henry in 1930. She was a devoted, long time member of the United Methodist Church throughout her life in Bonners Ferry. She was a volunteer at the Museum, worked at the Restorium and for the Forest Service and volunteered at the Senior Center. She was a lifetime member of the Eagles. She was preceded in death by her parents a brother, Cecil, sister Violet Clark and her husbands Ed Middlemist and Jerry Carnahan. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth E. Middlemist, of Tubigon, Philippines and Warren Middlemist, a niece, Alice Reynolds, Weippe, Idaho and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a beautiful, witty, talented and funny lady. We will miss her. At her request there were no services or funeral.
