Chamberlin, 102 Margerie B. Chamberlin began life in Atlanta, Kansas on Dec. 3, 1901, born to Henry Clinton and Rosa Moore Cunningham. She passed away on November 5, 2004. She was looking forward to celebrating her 103rd birthday on Dec. 3. She married William (Bill) Chamberlin in Springfield, Colorado where they had 3 children. The moved to Bonners Ferry in 1935 during the Dust Bowl and Depression and had two more children. They lived in Paradise Valley for many years and later moved to Moyie Springs. Memorial services were held at the Lutheran Church on November 8. Margerie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, a daughter Rosella, a grandson Gale Chamberlin, a great-grandson Dustin Rood and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Clint and wife Doris Chamberlin, of Bonners Ferry; son William (Bill) and wife Drue Chamberlin, of Boise; daughter Louise (Sally) Hodgins and husband Duane, of Emmett, Idaho; and daughter Lilly Whitson, of Spokane; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She spent many happy hours going to yard sales with her granddaughter Carla. Marge was a homemaker and worked at the Restorium for a n umber of years. She helped start the Paradise Valley Club House. She belonged to the Busy Bees and Craft Clubs. She was active in the community and did a lot of needlework and crafts. She gave up driving at 90 and had to give up her home at age 100 after having a stroke. She loved to play cards and played pinochle until she was 100. She lived at the Huckleberry House, then went to Bonners Ferry Extended Care, where she was given the best of care.
