She recently celebrated her 81st birthday. Services were held June 10, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home Chapel, and she was laid to rest at the Moravia Cemetery. Norma was born in Shelbyville, Missouri on June 1, 1922 to Corbet and Edna Mae Lamberson. As a young girl, she moved with her family to the Yakima, Wash. area. Her mother passed away in 1935, and Norma, at the age of 13, moved with her brother and sister to Moravia to live with their grandparents, the Robinsons. There she attended Moravia Grade School and Bonners Ferry High School. She married Harold J. Dehlbom on March 20, 1946 in Lewiston, Idaho, where Harold was employed as a logger. Harold and Norma bought a piece of land in Moravia in 1964, where they raised four daughters and lived together until her death. Norma was a active member of the Pythian Sisters for more than 50 years. She loved all handicrafts and took great pleasure in fishing at local lakes with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband. Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Harold Dehlbon; two sons, Terry Dinning and Bart Dinning; three daughters, Diana Waters, Dorene Dehlbom and Mona Schauble; one sister, Jean Eddy; numerous nieces and nephews, 17 grandchidlren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karen Dehlbom; her brother Denver Lee Lamberson; and her best friend in life, Iola Hill.
