He was a retired stockman and farmer. Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at 10:30 a.m., at the Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Inman. Burial was at the Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation (with family present) was on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, from 4-6 p.m. at the church. Survivors include this wife, Margaret of the home; four sons, Galen D. Ensz of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Richard D. Ensz of Windom, Kan., Keith D. Ensz of Inman, Kan., and Harlin D. Ensz of Inman, Kan.; daughter, Karen J. Koehn of Montezuma, Kan.; two brothers, Arvid Ensz of Madrid, Neb., and Earvey Ensz of Comstock, Wis., four sisters, Margaret Penner of Inman, Kan., Betty Giesbrecht of Louisville, Ga., Justine Friesen of Comstock, Wis., and Wilma Giesel of Hesston, Kan.; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be given to Mercy Hospital (Moundridge) or Christian Service International, in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home.
