Private Services will be held. Mary was born on January 27, 1925, in Yonkers, New York, to John and Mary (Boag) Marshall, Scottish immigrants. She attended schools in Kearny, New Jersey and then met George in 1942. On March 7, 1943, she married George Adam Fisher in Irvington, New Jersey. They had two daughters, Beverly and Carol. George and Mary moved to Bonners Ferry in 1970 where they managed the Rustic Motel for 2 years. In 1977 they moved out to the Cow Creek area where they resided until George's death. Mary moved to the Senior Apartments in Bonners Ferry in 1991. Over the years she loved crocheting, sewing, fishing, spending time out of doors, caring for the garden and flowers. Most of all she dedicated here whole life to her family. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed her grandsons immensely. She also cherished the friendship of her life-long friend, Agnes Nieradka. Survivors include daughter Carol Anne Arthur and husband, Ken of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, grandsons Adam and Clinton Arthur of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; and Tedd Moriarty of Columbia Falls, Montana; granddaughter Crystal and great-granddaughter Hannah Moriarty; sister Margaret Benjamin and husband Rich; several nieces and nephews, including Dennis Fischer, Gary Noesner; and Nancy Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Fischer, daughter Beverly and brothers; Bill, Alex, Thomas and Archie and grandson Thomas. Memorials may be made to the Fry Foundation, Second Chance Adoption, or the Senior Hospitality Center.
