   Joan Fitch, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2007 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. 
   Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 16, 2007 at
Bonners Ferry Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Greenslitt officiating. Burial will
follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry, Id. 
   Joan was born on April 29, 1931 in Minden, Nebraska the daughter of Ed and
Ona (Orcutt) Burchell. She attended schools in Minden and then attended college
at Nebraska Wesleyan University. While in school she was the soloist for a major
orchestra. 
   Joan married her husband Robert on November 12, 1952 in Minden, Nebraska
while he was serving with the U.S. Navy. They moved to Bonners Ferry, Id. in
1959 where she worked as a secretary for Sperry Gyroscope, Pace-Kerby, Nixon &
Nixon, and an administration secretary at Boundary Community Hospital. 
   She was a member of the Methodist Church, P.E.O. and the Art Club. Her
hobbies included sewing, painting and raising roses. 
   Joan is survived by her husband Bob, daughter and son-in-law Terri and Bryan
Duncan; Son Dennis Fitch; brother and sister-in-law Warren and June Burchell;
granddaughters Kelli Duncan and Nicole Fitch and a grandson Cameron Fitch.
