Her husband, Walter Forrester, preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Walter and Sue Forrester of Blairsville, Ga.; Gary and Susan Forrester of Moyie Springs, Idaho; Greg and Candy Forrester of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Dennis and Ann Forrester of Loganville, Ga.; and daughter and son-in-law Sabrina and Edward Westbrook of Shady Dale, Ga. Also surviving Romain are 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild preceding her in death; a brother, two sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Romain was born on Nov. 14, 1923 in Atlanta, Ga., and lived most of her life there and in the surrounding area, where she and Walter raised their five children. After retirement, the relocated to Bonners Ferry and Moyie Springs seven years ago. A memorial service to celebrate Romain’s life is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Chapel in Bonners Ferry. Having been a survivor of breast cancer, the family requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Romain’s honor to the Susan B. Komen Breast Foundation, Komen Coeur d’Alene Affiliate, P.O Box 3309, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 83816, or via the internet at www.cdakomen.org. Romain was well known for her cooking, her quilts, her love of “junk sales and flea markets, “her love of family and friends.
