She was 84. Marie was born Feb. 25, 1921 in Bridgeport, Neb. She graduated from Bonners Ferry High School, nad at the age of 40 she went to college to get her degree as a Physiology Technician. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Buckley Ward and a member of the Eastern Star. She volunteered at her church, enjoyed knitting, sewing, needlecraft and especially her flowers. Her husband, John Foster, preceded her in death in August, 1999. Two brothers, Alfred (Daisy) Patten, Yelm, Wash., and Ervin Patten, Bend, Ore., survive her. She is also survived by three daughters, Jeanette (Clark) Babcock of Renton, Wash., Judy (Jack) Foust of Cashmere, Wash., and Gail (Russell) Kersavage of Redmond, Ore. She also has two step-children, Donald (Kitty) Foster of Graham, Wash., and Dolly Ebeck of Portland, Ore., nine grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren Services are to be held at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Renton, Wash., Jan 28, 2006.
