Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint. Bob was born March 8, 1942 in Oakland, Calif. To Gerald and Viola Jacoby. At a young age Bob found his likes, loves and passions. He liked cars; junkers and clunkers had endless possibilities in his eyes. Bob loved motorcycles and put his first Harley on the road at the age of 16. Music was his passion. He found his emotions in the sound of lead guitar. Balancing work, family, and Harley rides, he made his way to the stage at the Mountain Air Festival with the band “Soakin Wet.” Bob and his close friend and “cuz” Roger played with the band “Rockin Horse.” In 1984 Bob moved from California to North Idaho, and he married Debbie Irwin in October 1987. When he wasn’t building cabinets he was sharing tunes with the band “2FM.” For the past six years Bob put his heart into the “Big Eddy Band”, and was recording original music with awesome results. His biggest pleasure in life was jamming with his children, family and friends. Bob and Debbie moved to Naples, Idaho in 2001.
