There will be a viewing Thursday, Jan. 26 in Caldwell, starting 9 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12th and Everett building. The service will follow at 11 a.m. under the direction of Bishop Dan Kener of the Caldwell First Ward. Burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memorial Garden in Boise. Services are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes. Ustick Chapel in Meridian. Vena was born Dec. 16, 1927, to Earl and Mildred (Fairchild) Gorringe in Pocatello, Idaho, the first of four children. Vena attended public school in Oakley, Idaho and following high school attended Albion Normal School. Vena married her eternal sweetheart Donald Jensen Sept. 30, 1945, in San Francisco. Their union was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they had eight children n=and enjoyed each others company to the end. They served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Family History Center located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Vena is survived byher husband Don of Caldwell, and seven children, Lonny (Ginnie) Jensen of Spokane, Wash.; Boyd (Ladell) Jensen of Brigham City, Utah; Irene (Ron) Grames of Boise; Connie (Joe) Bunt of Boise; Peggy (Tom) Pranger of Buckley, Wash.; Kristine (Morris) Grigg of Eagle and Lisa (Albert) Erickson of Caldwell; one brother Dee Gorringe of Burley; 37 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Jay and Hal Gorringe, and a son David John Jensen. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O.
