Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at 1 p.m. in the Wellsprings Community Center home of the Praise Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Harley was born Nov. 3, 1956 in Sidney, Mont. to Melvin and Dorothy (Baker) Krohmer. He attended grade school in Froid, Mont. until the family moved to Bonners Ferry in 1968 where Harley finished his education. He graduated from Bonners Ferry high School in 1975. After high school, Harley attended Pacific Lutheran University and Flathead Community College. he married Mary Lockwood in 1983 and had on son, Keith Nathan, in 1984. Harley and Mary were later divorced. Harley worked in the lumber and mining industries. He was last employed as a saw filer for Welco of Idaho. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. In his own quiet way, he was very artistic. He taught himself to play the piano and accordion. Harley was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Harley was preceded in death by his father Melvin, sister Lois and brother Melvyn (Bing). He is survived by his son Keith of Moyie Springs; mother Dorothy Krohmer Allen and husband George of Hisperia, Calif.; brothers Ron Krohmer of Auburn, Wash. and Roy Krohmer and wife, Sharlene of Moyie Springs; nieces Michelle Torkelson of Washington, Pamela Skeen and Paula Schultz of Bonners Ferry and Melissa Piper of Washington; uncles Richard Baker and wife Shirley, Donald Baker and wife Mavis all of Bonners Ferry; Delmer Krohmer and wife Gladys of Froid, Mont.; aunts Eunice Johnson of Bonners Ferry and Laura Insness and husband Lyle of Montana.
