Rites Monday for Keith Leslie
  Keith Leslie died October 2 at his home north of Bonners Ferry.  Graveside
services were held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Lowell
Carlson officiating.
  He was born Dec.18 in Bonners Ferry, the son of William and Eva Leslie.  He
attended schools in Bonners Ferry and after graduation he attended the
University of Idaho, Moscow.
   In 1929 Mr. Leslie married Gladys Beck in Bonners Ferry.  They resided in
Bonners Ferry until she preceded him in death in 1930 after the birth of their
son, Bob Leslie.
   On Feb 14, 1939, Keith married Edna Thompson in Libby.  He lived his entire
life in the Boundary County area where he worked in logging, farming, and
trucking.  He retired in 1972 due to ill health and enjoyed the out-of-doors,
spending time hunting and fishing.
   He is survived by his wife, Edna, at the home in Bonners Ferry; a son, Bob
Leslie, of Eugene, Ore.; a brother, Oliver Leslie, of Glendora, Calif.; a
daughter-in-law and a grandson, Dee and Todd, of Orofino.  He is also survived
by numerous nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva Leslie; a son, Gary
Leslie; a brother, A.W. Leslie, and two sisters, Grace Barber and Alice Kruegel.
