Her partner James Wilger, Friend, Johany Jeltes, and her pets Whispurr and Ellie were present. A celebration of Tanna’s life will be held at her home on July 22, 2006. Tanna was the only daughter of Arthur and Evelyn Gerus. She was born in Chicago, Ill. On Nov. 5, 1946, and was raised with her brother Bruce in a loving home. All four are together again. Tanna enjoyed high school in Chicago. She graduated from De Paul University in 1968 and returned to high school to teach. She retired in June 2002. She was also a graduate of the Harrington Institute of Design and used her talent, knowledge and determination to complete her “Idaho Dream’ home, an 11 year labor of love. She spent nine summers and four years on her beloved property on Highland Creek. Tanna will be remembered by her step-daughter, Tanya and husband Robby Underwood, grandchildren; Bradley and Kayla; her godmother, Mary Nago, Mary’s daughters, Laura Nago and Deb Donohue, Deb’s husband Mike and children, Alexandra and Josh; and Tanna’s partner Jimmy. Each express our sincere appreciation to all that prayed, called and helped. With special Love and Thanks to L.
