Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 11:00am in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with internment following in the Copeland Cemetery. Patsy was born on June 3, 1934 near Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Paul and Mary (Peeples) Curless. Patsy married David Nickolauson on August 24, 1963 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho after meeting again as they attended school together. Throughout her life she worked as a cook and caregiver for many years working in Spokane and Bonners Ferry. Patsy was a charter member of the Early Ford V8 Club in Spokane, Washington and the Rod Benders car club in Bonners Ferry. She spent many hours crocheting, gardening, watching wildlife, and playing pinochle. She enjoyed the many friendships she made at the Senior Center. She loved Bonners Ferry because of the scenic beauty and her many friends. Survivors include her husband David Nickolauson of Bonners Ferry, ID; 3 children Debbie Buckmaster and husband Larry of Moyie Springs, ID; Carol Elliott and husband Dan of Priest River, ID; Carl Nickolauson and Tiffany of Coeur d’Alene, ID; brothers George Faulkner and wife Joane of Rupert; ID, Randy Curless and wife Gail of Dover, ID; 6 grandchildren and 41/2 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who knew god and worshipped in her own way. She will be remembered for her shopping and eating trips, the long family talks, and many years of great companionship and love, which brought us all closer together.
