October 8, 1913 to September 15, 2006
   George and Marge Plantz are reunited once again, as George has gone to be
with her and the Lord in heaven.
   George was born in Pine Grove, Michigan to Franklin and Maude Plantz.
   George was no stranger to hard work, which included driving a truck, working
for Burroughs, and working at the Bonners Ferry saw mill.
   The thing he loved most was faming, and so George always lived where he could
have a garden and a barn full of animals.
   George married Marge in 1947 and together they raised their children in Novi,
Michigan.  In 1967 George and Marge moved their family to Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
 Frank was off in the Navy by then.  Stella, Linda and Michael graduated from
Bonners Ferry High School.
  The saw mill hired George in 1967 until he retired in 1978.  Once retired, you
could find him at the auction most every Thursday telling stories and bring
things home to fill the 20 acres he roamed with his dog Pepper; Katka Mountain
was George’s heaven on earth.
   George was always ready to help out family and friends.  Family and friends
loved coming to George and Marge’s for dinner; to play cards and to listen to
George’s story about he grew up.  George’s family and friends were his most
treasured possessions and he loved each and every one of them unconditionally.
   We all love you Dad and we will miss fishing with you, playing cards with
you, hearing your stories and having you here to keep us on the straight and
narrow.  We love you more than you could ever imagine.  You and Mom are our most
precious breath of life.
   Survived by: Children: Rita Fern Wentz, DeLeon Spring, Florida, Frank Plantz,
Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Stella Plantz, Kirkland, Washington, Linda Plantz, Renton,
Washington, Michael Plantz, Orofino, Idaho.
Grandchildren: David, Aaron, Maria, Katherine, Alicia, Christina, Sarah,
Elizabeth, Megan, Rebecca, Stephanie, Daniel, Nicholas, Jared, Erich, Joel,
Tamara, Debe, Andrew, Stephanie, Alicia B., Lauren.
   Great Grandchildren: Julia, Mary Beth, Benjamin, Alexis, Caleb, Gabriel,
Nicholas, Tanner, Haylie, Andrew.
   Siblings: David Plantz of Santa Rosa, California.
   Lots and lots of nephews, nieces and cousins
