Surrounded by family. A private service is planned. Internment will be at Cloverdale memorial Pak in Boise, Id. Mom was born June 19, 1924 Detroit, Mi. to Frank and Madeline Marie-Louise Deplaix Tsatskowski. She learned at an early age the value of hard work, self-reliance and love of family. After her school years, Mom was involved as a Grey Lady and courier in California and Oregon during WWII. In 1943 she met and married Lt. Roy Wooldridge in San Francisco, Calif., and later in the Willamette Valley in Oregon bore two sons, Kent and Wayne. Following a divorce, Mom met and married the love of her life, John “Jack” Ream (Roy’s first cousin), in Dunfur, Ore. on June 25, 1950. (Mom really screwed up the family tree.) Daughters Robin, twins Pat and Pam, and son Alan soon followed. She was a devoted wife and wonderful homemaker. She ran our home with military precision. We were raised with a firm, yet loving hand. Mom set examples that we continue to appreciate and practice. She supported dad in his work endeavors from Oregon to the NWT in Canada ultimately settling and raising the family in Bonners Ferry, Id. After the booted the kids (or rather we escaped that earlier mentioned military lifestyle) the folks hit the road for the next 10 years as long-haul truck drivers and crisscrossed the U.S. It was quite an experience “Cookie Monster” and “Big Mac” learned to get along in close proximity and were loving and grateful for those years together, in spite of Dad accidentally leaving mom at a rest stop in Utah (and having to be flagged down by the Utah Highway Patrol several hundred miles later to inquire if he’d lost “something” important). Following retirement in 1996, they spent two idyllic years together in Council, Id. Dad passed away following a brief illness in December 1998 and Mom never fully recovered from her loss. Though we’re deeply saddened by the passing of our mother, we are strengthened in the knowledge that Mom and Dad are together again. Mom was preceded in death by her parents and beloved granddaughter Chelsea Sorensen. She leaves behind her children Kent (Renee); Wayne; Robin (Mark) Severson; Pat (Stan) Sorensen; Pam (Larry) Bearg; and Alan (Diane); grandchildren; David, Martin (Jean) and Cassie Wooldridge; Chris (Kim) Ream; Jason (Bunny) Brink; Gabrielle Brink; Jacob and James Severson; Casey, Austin and Tanner Sorensen; Brandon, Cayla, Rich and Scott Bearg; Amy, Jonathan and Jacob Ream; great-grandchildren Jessica and Megan Wooldridge; April and Haley Brink; Nina White and Hunter Ream. We are deeply grateful to the angels of the Pathway hospice in Ontario, Ore., in particular Karolyn and Jeanne. They demonstrated incomparable commitment and caring to both our mother and the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any hospice organization.
