Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry, Idaho with burial following. Don was born on March 16, 1918 in Lemon, South Dakota to John and Leona (Klingbell) Schied. He attended school in Lemon later moving to Billings, Montana with his family where he attended and graduated from High School. He went to work as a milkman for several years. On September 14, 1939 Don married Joyce Jacobs in Lemmon, South Dakota. During WWII he served in the Seabees. After his discharge, he returned to Billings where he worked until 1950 when he moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Don delivered milk until he retired in 1980. don has resided at his Bonners Ferry home until his death. Survivors include his wife Joyce of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; two sons; don E. Schied of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Rick Schied of Auburn, Washington; sister Phyllis Bradley of Forsyth, Montana; brother Myles Schied of El Cajon, California and two grandchildren.
