Mrs. Schlette is Called by Death
   Mrs. Florence Schlette, age 74, a long-time resident of this community,
passed away at the local hospital Friday, April 3, following an illness of
several weeks.  her remains were shipped to Chicago where services were held at
Barren & Son Funeral Home and interment was in Bethania cemetery.
   The deceased was the widow of E. B. Schlette, who, prior to his death several
years ago, served for probate judge for many years.  She was born September 5,
1878, at Carlinville, Ill.; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis E. Bellmer.
   A sister, Mrs. Narda B. Boccher of Chicago, had been here with her and has
accompanied the body to Chicago.
