The week before she passed, she looked in the mirror and joked, “Where did thse darn wrinkles come from? I don’t need them to remind me of anything.” She was born June 7, 1913 to Herman and Edna Austin in Porthill, Boundary County, Idaho. She married Irvin “Bic” Streeter in 1948 – giving them 58 years of handholding happiness. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Gloria Streeter, and siblings, Vonnie Smith, Jessie Hydorn, and John Austin. Elizabeth worked as a beautician, and ideal occupation as she loved to gossip and converse with most everyone. Elizabeth is famous for her enthusiasm and vitality. Always full of energy and a little mischief, she was youthful even as an octogenarian. She loved to go Rving. She and Bic retired in the 1980’s which gave them time to winter in Quartzsite, Ariz. And a chance to make friends and visit family all over America. They loved their winter adventures. Their summer residence was in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where her childhood adventures had occurred. In the mid-1990’s she and Bic moved to Puyallup, Wash., to be near their daughter Irvalee and her children. Elizabeth loved all of her family openly and was loved by them all. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Bic, son Charles (Karen), daughter Irvalee (Dan), grandsons Butch (Andrea) Streeter, Brenda (Christopher) Cote, Christine Ringer and great grandson Austin Cote. She also leaves behind a large extended family of niceds, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews that she loved. Her sunshine will be missed by all of us.
