She was born in Athus, Belgium to Edmund and Katherine Brockley on June 17, 1909. She joined two sisters and two brothers. Her father was in Missouri working as a bricklayer with his brother saving money so the family could come to the United States. In 1912 Billie, with her mother, sisters and brothers, boarded a ship and set sail for America. Shortly after joining her father, the family moved to Chicago. In 1926 the family, with a new brother Louie who was born in America, came to Boundary County. In 1929 she married Milton Love and a son was born: Robert Milton Love. In 1938 she married Benton "Benny" Teer. They met at a dance in the Sherdian school. Billie and Benny owned and operated the Moyie Store. They also owned the Moyie Dance Club, which later became the Moyie Club. In 1939 she got her citizenship papers. The store was also the Moyie Post Office. She picked up mail at the depot in Moyie Springs on mail delivery days. In 1955 they moved the post office to the new building across from the store. She was always a hard and efficient worker. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, entertaining, and huckleberry picking. Many happy hours were spent with her two granddaughters and her two sisters fishing and huckleberry picking. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a life time member of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile. She is survived by her son Robert Love, and his wife, Drexel in Moyie Springs; granddaughter Roxanne Adams of ortland, Ore., granddaughter Deborah Biehl and husband Loren of Phoenix, Arizona; three great-grandchildren, Robert K. Schneider, Darby Biehl and Bradley Biehl; three nephews, Edmund Justus (Bonners Ferry, Idaho)and Robert Brockley (California); several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Benton "benny" Teer of 50-plus years; her mother and father, Edmund and Katherine Brockley; brothers, Edmund Brockley, Louie Brockley, and Joe Brockley; sisters, Eugene "Jean" Justus and Leona Mossman.
