April 13, were held at Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at the Morse Funeral Home with Rev. A. M. Morton, of Sandpoint officiating. Interment was at Grandview Cemetery Pallbearers were: Carl Grunerud, William Meade, Chas. Maxwell, Noah Labrosse. John Bond and Robert Hartling. The deceased was born in Ottawa, Ontario, on December 4, 1870. With her family she moved to Ostego, Michigan, at the age of eight, and became a naturalized citizen. In 1386, she was married to John Foster in Vanderbilt, Michigan and to this union three sons were born, Ira. Frank and John. Mr. Foster passed a-way several yeas later. In 1905 she married Charles Shoup, at Gaylord, Michigan and with their family, came to Bonners Ferry in 1910 to make the home. Mr. Shoup passed away here in 1927and was survived by a son and daughter: Wesley and Julia. The deceased became the wife of Christian J. Wagner on July 3, 1937. and until a year ago, the couple made their home in the Hound Prairie District. She is survived by her husband and four children: Ira Foster, Detroit. Michigan, Frank Leslie Spokane, Wesley Shoup, and Mrs. Julia Smith, of Freshwater, California, and one step son, Chester Wagner, of Spokane. She is also survived by two brothers; W.A. Leslie, Bremerton, Washington, and Dr. O.M. Leslie, Vancouver, B.C. one sister, Mrs. Bertha Meston, Hillman, Michigan, and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The deceased was a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star at Vanderbilt. Michigan, and was a member of the Methodist Church. Out of town relatives attending the funeral services included: Mrs. Julia Smith, Wesley Shoup. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Leslie, Mrs. Una Leslie, of Spokane, Chester Wagner and two children.
