The trip was in every respect successful. Yesterday a deal of some importance was consummated when George Candland of Butte, Mont., purchased the drug stock, soda water fountain and store fixtures of Dr. A. F. Isham at this place. The price paid was not stated, but your correspondent understands that it was very satisfactory to both parties. Mr. Candland comes to our city with a good reputation as a chemist & druggist. He was for a while connected with the Nampa pharmacy. Dr. Isham will now devote his attention to his practice and his extensive creamery interests. J. B. and J. C. Washburn of Emmett were Caldwell visitors yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Platt of Ontario were visiting with friends here yesterday. Judge Little made a flying visit to Mussell's ferry today.
