H. Isaac, vice- president; C. S. Doan, secretary; J. C. Dressler, assistant secretary; Finley McKenzie, Alex Ballentine, W. M. Cupp and Robt. Aikman, executive committee. considerable business of importance was transacted and a resolution passed to the effect that the members of this association will pay not to exceed 7 cents per head, without board, for shearing sheep; that sales day for wool the coming season in Caldwell will be Saturday. C. S. Doan leaves tonight for the east. Mrs. Doan accompanies him. They will be absent about a month. H. K. Stoddard and Editor Mansfield of Nampa, were in Caldwell yesterday on business. W. J. McIntosh returned yesterday from Ola. Wm. Kirk of Rosewell is visiting in Caldwell a guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Sebree. J. C. Rice returned last evening from Jacksonville, Ills., where he has been on a visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Kyle will make Caldwell their future home, having engaged the home of Frank Gibberts.
