Mrs. Francis Bardmas and her daughter, Alice, returned from Long Valley Saturday. Miss Bardmas was teaching school in Long Valley where diphtheria is prevalent and was taken sick. Her mother, fearing she had contracted the disease, hastened to her, but her illness was not of a serious nature. Phil Masden and Bob White are in from Frank making preparations to attend the College of Idaho this winter. Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Barton of Boise are in the city. Rev. Barton may take the chair of Greek in the College of Idaho for the coming winter. Mrs. George F. Redway of Boise is visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Redway.
