The decorators have almost finished their work and the decorations are exquisite, no better or more artistic work being found in any hotel west of the Rocky mountains. Colonel Dewey has completed his purchase of furniture and all the numerous rooms will be completely furnished. Work will commence this Monday on the erection of a $15,000 power house, to light the hotel with electricity. The opening has been delayed on account of sewerage. But now that the city has sold its sewer and water bonds and has the money ready to commence work, this difficulty will be obviated. J. M. Clark, city engineer, has completed the survey of the sewer and specifications have been drawn up to form a basis for bids. All work will be completed in good time for the opening, July 1.
