W. Shuee, about two and a half miles from Caldwell, Sunday. The bodies of both were recovered. Miss Shuee, whose home was in Alton, Kans., was the niece of G. W. Shuee and had been visiting him home. Miss Masterson was the daughter of Dan Masterson, a well known rancher of Middleton. She was visiting Miss Shuee at the Shuee home and the young women went out to the slough to go in bathing. Just how the drowning occurred is not known. When they did not return search was instituted. Their clothes were found and immediately search was made for the bodies which was successful in a short time. Miss Masterson was 17 years of age and Miss Shuee 19.
