Jose Bernal

    Rosary for Jose Armando Bernal, 32, of Nampa, who died Saturday, March 29, 
in Nampa, will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. 
Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa., by the Rev. Henry Carmona, pastor of Our Lady of 
Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
    Mr. Bernal was born Nov. 8, 1953, at Sabinas, Coachulia, Mexico, to Rodolfo 
and Dominga Gonzales Bernal, and moved with his family to Midland, Texas, where 
he was reared and educated.
    He moved to Nampa in 1969.  He married Lydia Vela on May 1, 1971, in 
Caldwell and they had since made their home in Nampa.
    He served one enlistment with the National Guard unit at Nampa.  He had 
recently worked as a musician and as a bouncer at a Nampa lounge.
    He is survived by his wife of Nampa; two sons, Jesse and Jose Bernal, both 
of Nampa; a daughter, Veronica Bernal of Nampa; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Rodolfo Bernal of Salt Lake City; and Agapito and Juan Bernal, both of Nampa; 
two sisters, Yolando Aguirre of Salt Lake City and Leticia Aguila of Nampa; and 
several nieces and nephews.
