Silas A. Feller, 85, Passed away Sunday,
Last Rites at Emmett, Wednesday

Funeral services were held at the Beatty chapel in Emmett Wednesday morning, 
for Silas A. Feller, 85, who passed away early Monday morning at the home of 
his son, Harold, after a brief illness. The Rev. N. H. Lines officiated, 
interment was at Riverside.
Mr. Feller was born Dec 25, 1870, in Johnson County, Mo. He moved as a child to 
Iowa and later settled in Jewell County, Kansas.
He was married to Lillian R. Allington at Mankato, Kan., Sept. 1, 1897. She 
preceded her husband in death in 1950.
Mr. Feller farmed for many years in Kansas, retiring in 1932 and moving to 
California. In 1949, he came to Emmett and moved to Middleton in 1955.
Surviving are his son, Harold W. Feller of Middleton; two brothers, W. J. 
Feller of Superior, Neb., and I. E. Feller of Rosemead, Calif.; a foster 
daughter, Mrs. Robert Baebler of Tracy, Calif., and three grandchildren, Eugene 
Feller of Duarte, California; Mrs. Bryant Schlippy, Pasadena, California; and 
Sue Feller of Middleton.
