Philip Kinkel of Memorial Park Baptist Church. Interment will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Mr. Granger was born May 14, 1889, in White Pine, Colo., and moved to Long Valley with his parents in the late 1890s. The family moved to Boise in 1901 and he was reared and educated there. He graduated from Lewiston Normal School, and taught school for 40 years in Ola, Huston, Midway, Pleasant Ridge, Enrose, and Central Park Elementary Schools. He married Josephine Gross June 24, 1915, in Gross, Idaho, near Ola. He took the first car into that area on his wedding day. The couple had been married 56 years. He retired from teaching in 1950 and continued to live in Caldwell, where the couple moved in 1930. He was a charter member of Memorial Park Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to Mrs Granger are a son, the Rev. Harry L. Granger Jr., of Emmett; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd (June) Beeson of Middleton and Mrs. Marlin (Bernice) Witt of Nampa; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
