Funeral for Mrs. E.C. Shafer on Friday
      Mrs. Emma Shafer, wife of E.C. Shafer, a rancher living near Maple Grove 
school, died at their home on Wednesday at the age of 50. She had suffered 
from Apoplexy and this is understood to have been the cause of her death.
   Services in tribute to the diseased wife and mother will be held Friday 
morning at 11 o’clock at the local Adventist church, Rev. Bird in charge. 
Burial will be in Canyon Hill cemetery.
