Vaudeth Lorene ‘Rene’ Wilson

ONTARIO-Waudeth Lorene “Rene” Wilson, 75, Ontario, died May 24, 1991, at the 
home of her son in Moscow, Idaho.  Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. 
Thursday at Parma Cemetery, Parma.  Mr. Dick E. Butcher of Boise will 
officiate, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel Payette.

She was born June 18, 1915, at Mooreland, Okla., a daughter of Lloyd and Minnie 
Caldwell.  She moved to Parma at age six and later resided in the Apple Valley 
Community near Parma.  She married Conley Wilson on March 29, 1933 at Vale.  
They made their home and farmed together at Apple Valley until 1968, when they 
moved to the Little Salmon River near Riggins, Idaho.  There, the owned and 
operated the Pinehurst Motel, until retirement in 1976.  They moved to 
Fruitland, where they lived until 1987.  “Con” died Nov. 7, 1988.  “Rene” spent 
her recent years living with her daughter’s family in Ontario.  

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette Botner of Ontario; her son, Larry 
Wilson of Moscow; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a sister, 
Helen Van Landingham of Yakima.  She was preceded in death by a son, Darrel; a 
brother, Cedric Caldwell and a sister, Fern Johnston. 

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Shaffer-Jensen 
Memory Chapel, P. O. Box 730, Payette 83661.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, 
Payette.
