   BASIN ITEMS

  A severe hailstorm passed over Basin last Saturday afternoon doing 
considerable damage, especially in the upper part where it almost ruined some 
of the crops.

  Deputy Game Warden Samuel Cook was looking up business in Basin on Saturday.

  Bert Bartholomew and his wife are jubilant over the arrival of a sweet 
little girl via stork route on Sunday morning last.
