   BIRTHS

They are idols of hearts and of households;
They are angels of God in disguise.

  Harvey Wells Dixon is the name that was given to the beautiful little cherub 
that was born to Mrs. Loretta Wells Dixon of Manard Ward, some days since. The 
little fellow first saw the light at Grandpa Wells' place in Oakley. This is 
the first-born of Mr. and Mrs. Dixon, and of course, they are correspondingly 
proud of it.

  Mr. and mrs. William Warr of Marion were made happy on Thursday last by by 
the advent of another beautiful daughter into their home.

  Mr. and Mrs. Herman Johnson are injoying the first fruits of matrimony in 
the sweet little daughter that was born to them on Monday. They are just now 
in condition to know the meaning of "domestic bless." This is W. C. 
Martindales 53rd grand child.
