Judge Powers of Salt Lake was one of the lawyers for the prosecution, and gave Jack $50 when he started prospecting. When the "find" was incorporated, Judge Powers was surprised to receive a big block of valuable stock. Clarence Eddy has also made a rich strike near Goldfield.
