Seargeant Robert W. Slack, 23, tail gunner on a liberator bomber, was killed in action over France on June 27, according to latest word from the war department received by his wife, Mrs. Betsy Slack, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Slack, all of Burley. The war department got the information from Germany through the international Red Cross.
