Bray, wife of George W. Bray who died in 1926, came as a shock to her many friends as it was not thought that the battle of life was so near an end. The deceased was born in Missouri in 1862 and was married to George W. Bray, some 45 years ago remaining in Missouri for a few years when they moved to Provo, Utah, where they resided for several years. They then went to Eureka, Utah and then to Idaho Falls for a short time coming to Burley 15 years ago where they have since made their home. Eleven children were born to this marriage the first death being that of Willie Bray who died here in 1919. In 1922 Mr. Bray died leaving Mrs. Bray with a large family though most of them were grown. At the present time there are six boys, Barlow, Stanley, Victor, Grover, Albert, and George and one daughter Mrs. R. E. Harris. All of the children were present at the funeral except Albert who was at Eureka, Utah, under quarantine for small pox. Besides many grandghildren there are three great grandchildren of whom she was very proud. The service was held at the L.D.S. Tabernacle with Bishop H. O. Hall officiating. The speakers were H. O. Hall, Sam Bulkley, George Lewis and Isaac Gudmunsen. Musical numbers were given by a quartet consisting of Sam Bulkley, Charles Hymas, Mrs. Bulkley and Mrs. McBride. A solo by Mrs. Christenson and a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Payne. Interment was made in the Pleasant View cemetery.
