July 20 1933 Mrs. Margaret Leslie Lee, aged 81 years, expired at the family residence in Declo Friday at 5 a.m., following an illiness of cancer. The deceased was born in Dundee, Scotland, Feb. 10, 1852, the daughter of Alexander and Helen Coutts. She was married to Julius Albert Lee, Sept. 15 1881, in Ewart, Iowa. The family moved to this project from Grinnell, Iowa, in 1918 and have resided here since. Surviving are her husband, and three children, Mrs. Archie McLean of Declo, Frank C. Lee of Mason City, Iowa, and R. H. Lee of Coleville, Wash. Three children preceeded her in death. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a. m. from the Declo Presbyterian church with Prof. F. E. Howard of the Albion State Normal officiating. He and Hyrun S. Lewis were the speakers at the funeral. The music consisted of two duets by Mrs. Clive Lindsey, Maxine Vosberg, Gladys Hite and Mildred Finley; besides trio by J. P. Nesbit, and two sisters of Rupert, and was under the direction of Mrs. A. B. Kellogg. Pallbearers were L. L. Maggart, Sam Richardson, Bish Matthews, C. P. Kennedy, Frank Wells and A. B. Kellogg, the flower girls were directed by Mrs. James Dalton. Interment, under the direction of D. E. Johnson, was in the Declo cemetery.
