It is with deep regret The Bee announces to you the death of little Willie, the seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Snodgrass, who departed this life Tuesday evening at about 7 o'clock. The little fellow had been suffering for a number of days, though at the time of his death it was not believed he was so very bad; However, he is now no more, And one chair in the family circle Is vacated by his going; One seat is placed at the festive board Seems longing, ever longing. But Willie, little Willie, You are free from life's dull care, You have brushed aside the troubles of earth And joined the Heavenly fair. Yes, hark, me thinks I hear the Angels call; And see their gates ajar. They have opened wide their portals To admit him from afar. They have clasped his little hand in their's And welcomely received him there. The Angels are always glad, mother, When children climb their stairs.
