Obituarie Aug 1977
  Hammett-Ralph Leroy Thacker, 57, Hammett, died Monday in a Mountain Home 
hospital.
  Born July 7, 1920 in Kimberly, he joined the U.S. Navy and served on the 
aircraft carrier USS Ranger during WW11.
  Mr. Thacker was a farmer in the Magic Valley area and was a member of the 
Catholic Church.
  Surviors are four brothers, Clifford, Vernie and Fred Thacker, all of 
Hammett, and leslie Thacker, Nampa, and one sister Helen Novak, Wendell.
  Requiem Mass for Mr. Thacker will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our 
Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Church by Fr. James P. Hallissey.
  Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sunset Memorial 
Park, Twin Falls, under the direction of Humpherys Chapel, Mountain Home.
